State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced the Merit Scholarship Scheme 2026 or the talented and deserving children of its serving, retired, or deceased employees up to OG-2 level. This scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to students pursuing Intermediate, Graduation, Post-Graduation, and Diploma programs in recognized institutions across Pakistan.
The scholarship is awarded strictly on merit basis and supports students who demonstrate strong academic performance while meeting all eligibility requirements defined by SBP.
Eligible Courses & Institutions
The scholarship is available for Intermediate, Graduation, Post-Graduation, and Diploma programs with a minimum duration of six months. Students must be enrolled in institutions recognized by HEC, BISE, IBCC, NAVTTC, PEC, PMDC, or TEVTA.

Eligibility Criteria
- Children of SBP employees (serving, retired, or deceased) up to OG-2 level
- Minimum 60% marks or A+, A, or B grade
- Admission in recognized institutions from 2023 onwards
- Applicants must not be receiving any other scholarship
- Minimum diploma duration should be six months
Scholarship Rules
- Scholarship is awarded strictly on merit and quota basis
- The same level of scholarship cannot be availed twice
- Continuation depends on satisfactory academic performance
- Scholarship may be withdrawn in case of failure or absence in exams
